FIVE SMALL WORLDS
These guys opened up with some punkish-tunes. It was kinda pickity-uppity, almost kinda like (dare i say) ska. (I love ska so i enjoyed it.) Some songs were kinda happy-like music, but they also had some more rockish tunes as well. Their drummer was very entertaining with all of his hat/hair/mask changing in between songs. ******

SHIFT
These guys sounded kinda like Creed to me. Same kind of vocals. Kinda standard hard rock stuff. I didn't stay for their whole set. ****

STILLDAY
Throughout their set, the crowd (full of girls) seemed more interested in the boys looks then their music. I realize it's not the guys in the band's fault, but this kinda got to me. Your fanbase is pretty much a reflection of your band. But i try not hold to that against them cos they do seem like cool guys. But anyway, I really couldn't tell if Stillday was pop punk or hard core. It was kinda like Rancid meets New Found Glory, i dunno. But I did enjoy some of their songs, don't get me wrong. It was just odd cos like the lead singer type guy was kinda not talking not screaming not rapping but almost singing/yelling/kinda-not-really-harmonizing when the guitar player sang. At least thats the way it looked to me i dunno for sure i was sitting down off to the side so i couldnt see very well. So those roles might have been reversed either way. *****

WORDS OF GRACE
I didn't get to stay for their whole set cos it was getting late and i had to get home. I like this band because they have an awesome stage presence (besides the fact that they're really good). Sometimes when i go to see a band i'll be bored if they're not playing songs that i know, but while i was there, Words played a whole bunch of new songs i didn't know and i wasn't bored at all. Every single guy in the band gets into their music and while it is entertaining for fans, i can tell that they are indeed praising God through the music they're creating. I left soon after their guitarist Andrew played about a 5 minute long lead guitar solo. I think just about everyone in the room was in awe. It was amazing. ********
