PART TIME

Part Time is a 4 piece christian punk rock band. They are: Steve plays guitar and sings
Timmy plays guiar and sings a bit
Aaron plays bass
Robbie plays the drums
These boys are from Detroit, Michigan. They're currently touring with Buck Enterprises. Steve is the old trumpet player/singer's lil brother, so they're all pretty good friends with the Buck guys. Timmy has school so he won't be playing on the tour, so they're going to perform as a 3-piece. I just saw them play at the show here and it was really awesome. I think they might play at The New Union sometime again. Everyone email the Union and tell them to book them sometime. Part Time has a self-titled EP out. It's like 5 songs for $6. It's a good CD. They don't have an official website, but hopefully they'll get one sometime soon. Part Time's music kinda sounds a lot like rancid meets mxpx kinda stuff. Really good punk.
Me and my friends met these guys at Cornerstone this past year. Their youth group camped next to us. They told us to go see their band so we did (they played at the Impromptu stage). They're really cool guys and super fun to hang out with. I hope we'll see them a lot more even though we live like a million miles away.
